U.K.-based Vertical Aerospace has unveiled its full-scale VX4 eVTOL aircraft mock-up. The company told eVTOL.com that it plans to complete its flying prototype next year 2022. Vertical is targeting the VX4 to fly at top speeds of 200 miles per hour (322 kilometers per hour), and a range of 100 mi (161 km). The unveiling comes ahead of the company’s plan to list on the New York Stock Exchange on Dec. 16, pending shareholder approval of its business combination with Broadstone Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: BSN). Broadstone, the special purpose acquisition company, plans to hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to vote on the deal on Tuesday. If the merger is successful, Vertical will trade on the NYSE under the ticker symbol EVTL.
