A National Transportation Safety Board report on a Cessna 150 crash in Watkins, Colorado, last May is raising eyebrows for partially blaming the fatal accident on the pilot’s use of his cell phone to take selfies mid-flight.

While there was no GoPro video of the crash flight, the NTSB nevertheless concluded ‘it is likely that cell phone use during the accident flight distracted the pilot and contributed to the development of spatial disorientation and subsequent loss of control.’
