Crash d’un B-17 dans le Connecticut

A number of news outlets are reporting that a B-17 belonging to the Collings Foundation has crashed at Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut. The big four-engine WWII-era bomber was at Bradley for a gathering of vintage aircraft this week. The B-17 reportedly crashed into a shed that is on airport property.

The Collings Foundation website is currently down, and there are reports of multiple fatalities and injuries. On Collings B-17 flights, there are typically around 10 passengers.

Built by Boeing in 1943, the Collings B-17 is an historic example. It is believed to have flown the most missions of any bomber in the Eighth Air Force
